Lionsgate Entertainment World (LEW) is Lionsgate’s first theme park and first vertical theme park in the world. LEW is one of a kind indoor and interactive theme park located in Zhuhai Hengqin, China that features thrilling attractions from six global franchises and Chinese box office hits such as “The Hunger Games”, “The Twilight Saga”, “Divergent”, “Now You See Me”, “God’s of Egypt”, and “Escape Plan”. The theme park also provides live entertainment, retail, and dining opportunities that bring some of Lionsgate’s most exciting motion-pictures properties and Chinese box office successes to life. Scenario and Cockram partnered with the developer Laisun for the building construction and the Thinkwell Group for the conceptual creative design to bring the LEW dream to reality. Scenario and Cockram turnkeyed a newly existing four story, 22,000 SQM facility into a world class operating theme park. Scenario and Cockram’s scope of work consisted but not limited to CM/PM services, structural upgrades to existing building, MEP design and installation, LDI management, BIM model creation, detailed design, show set manufacturing, Interior fit out, Mechanical effects, show control, show & facility lighting, AV, ride system integration, Installation and most importantly safety with over 1M safety man hours of LTI free. The LEW project lasted 2.5 years long from design through completion and cost $150M USD.
